Criticisms of Twinkledeals

If you have ever bought something from a company based in Asia, then you probably already know what I’m going to say: the shipping takes forever.

Well, it seems to take forever compared to what I’m used to. If I order something from a company like Amazon, I’m practically guaranteed to get it within a few days. And that’s during the busy holiday season.

Do not expect that kind of speed when you’re having something shipped to you from Asia.

If you live in the United States, your package will probably take anywhere from eight to 15 days to reach you. Eight days isn’t so bad. In my experience, though, it tends to be closer to 15. It might depend on where you live. I’m in the Midwest, so maybe you could get it cheaper if you lived on the coast.

Looking at the Twinkle Deals website, though, even I have it pretty good. Shipping to Europe can take from 10 to 20 days, which is weird since I think of Europe as being closer to Asia than my hometown.

If you live in Russia, Italy, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, or Argentina, Twinkle Deals says it could take as long as 35 days for your package to arrive. I like saving money, but I don’t know whether I would want to wait that long. I don’t know what’s going on with those countries. Maybe they have terrible customs agents or something.

I have never needed to contact customer support. Luckily, I have never had a problem that needed their help.

From the website, I know that you can contact customer service reps via email. They promise to read and respond to messages within one business day to keep customers happy.

That sounds pretty good to me. I’d rather send an email and wait a day than sit on the phone for an hour waiting for someone to answer.

For me, Twinkle Deals is awesome because it offers quality clothes at unbelievably low prices. Where else can you get a brand new jacket for $10? That’s like shopping at the Goodwill, expect you aren’t buying used clothes that are near the end of their lives. Instead, you are getting well-made garments with strong stitches and plenty of style.

The lengthy deliver time is a bit of an issue. There’s no way to deny that. I’m simply not used to waiting a week or more to get my order. But I’m started to get accustomed to it. The fact of the matter is that the savings are well worth it.

I do have this piece of advice: if you need a piece of clothing soon, Twinkle Deals probably isn’t the best option for you. You need to plan ahead and know that you might have to wait as long as two weeks. If you are heading to a wedding this weekend, do not try to order from Twinkle Deals. There is just too big a chance that your dress won’t arrive on time.

But if you’re reasonably good at planning, you can buy pretty much all the clothes you need from Twinkle Deals.
